Hi all! I wanted to share some family photos I took of our recent day trip to Oceanside this summer. Thanks to one of my cousins that took my husband and son there for a day of fishing. After all of the fun they said they had, I couldn’t miss out! So, we drove there the following weekend.
Oceanside is a relatively small and quiet So-Cal beach community that offers the perks of year-round mild weather, plenty of water sport activities to chose from, and crowd-free beaches. We spent our day near the pier, since we ended up getting there mid afternoon. First thing we did was rent a small motor boat to cruise the harbor in (check out Boats4rent.com). I really wanted to kayak, but I’ll save that experience for another time-and hopefully share some pictures!
The boat ride was SUPER peaceful! Both people & dolphin-watching were on the agenda. You can also bring your own board/kayak/paddle-board/boat- you name it. After the ride, we went for a stroll along the beach while I tried to take some unsuspecting pictures of Chris & Brian (tried). The beach is always a great place for photos, but even better when you have your family there to make for some memorable pictures!
We wrapped up the day with a quick bite to eat at Rockin Baja. Yum! Couldn’t think of a better Sunday afternoon.
