My dear friend Joanna has taken on the task of “wedding coordinator” for her sister’s upcoming wedding. She was given one month to plan. No pressure 🙂
So, when Joanna asked me if I would take pictures of her sister & brother-in-law to use the photos for decorating the ceremony, I got NERVOUS! Why???!!!! I am NOT a photographer, but was taking this task seriously. What if they don’t like them? What if they suck? What if? What if! Then Joanna reassured me that it’s simply a favor and I’d really be helping her out. Well, in that case, of course I would help them out!
As the day grew closer, I started to get really EXCITED! I knew this would be tons of fun and that there was no pressure-especially because I was reminded of how cool & mellow Anabel is (as is Angel!). I think I was over-thinking (as usual), and putting an unnecessary pressure on myself because of my interest in photography. Besides, how will I ever develop my interest if I’m constantly critical of myself? Everyone has to start somewhere. I’m learning and most importantly, realized that this was such a fun & fulfilling experience. I’m looking forward to “practicing” some more-on either unsuspecting subjects, or not. 🙂
Okay, now the fun stuff! Anabel & Angel decided to have fun with it (which I was super excited about!!). The couple decided on a desert landscape, near their home in Littlerock, Ca. True to their subtle rockabilly style, Angel brought his cool ride to compliment him & his beautiful wife.
So with permission from the couple-and without further ado-here are some of the photos I’d like to share. I hope you enjoy :0)
Thank you Angel & Anabel (& Joanna) for trusting me to take these pictures! I had so much fun with you guys!
